Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan ( Næʍābzādāh Liāqat Alī Khān listen (help info), Urdu: لِیاقت علی خان ; Commonly Quaid-e-Millat (Leader of the Nation) and Shaheed-e-Millat ) October 1, 1895 - October 16, 1951), known as شہِیدِ مِلّت Martyrs of the Nation), was one of Pakistan's leading founding fathers, statesman, lawyer and political theorist who served as Pakistan's first prime minister; He held a cabinet portfolio as the first minister of foreign, defense and border areas from 1947 until his assassination in 1951.
